Refunds and Cancellations

Voluntary Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on the airline’s fare rules and ticket conditions.

  • Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours before the flight’s scheduled departure.
  • Failure to cancel in time or no-show for a flight may result in no refund.
  • Refunds are only available within the ticket’s validity period and if permitted by the airline’s fare rules.
  • Non-refundable tickets or discounted fares may not be eligible for refunds or may be partially refundable.
  • For partially used tickets, refunds are based on the unused portion, as allowed by the airline.
  • Unused taxes may be refunded if no other refundable value remains.
  • Third-party services (e.g., insurance, airport transfers) are not automatically canceled with your ticket. Check your booking confirmation for third-party provider contact details to cancel these services directly.

A $150 processing fee per ticket applies for cancellations or changes requested through our customer care team to cover administrative costs. This fee is waived if you process cancellations directly with the airline, where applicable.

Involuntary Cancellations

If an airline cancels or significantly changes a flight, we will notify you as soon as possible. You may:

  • Accept alternative travel options provided by the airline.
  • Request a refund, subject to the airline’s fare rules.

FaroMatch is not responsible for additional costs or changes resulting from airline actions, but our customer care team will assist in resolving issues with the airline where possible. A $150 processing fee may apply for refund requests processed by our team.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, PayPal) within 20 business days for eligible tickets. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or delays in airline processing, which are beyond our control.

Administrative fees, airline penalties, or other charges are non-refundable and may be deducted from the refund amount.

Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact our customer service team to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback with your credit card provider. By booking with FaroMatch, you agree to our cancellation and refund policies, which are clearly disclosed at the time of booking.

The following chargeback scenarios are considered invalid, and we reserve the right to dispute them and recover associated costs:

  • Chargebacks for non-refundable bookings, even if the service was used.
  • Chargebacks due to failure to cancel in time or no-show for a flight.
  • Chargebacks resulting from non-compliance with these terms or airline policies.
  • Chargebacks for unauthorized use of a payment card by a third party.
  • Chargebacks due to dissatisfaction with a service that was provided as described.
  • Chargebacks related to travel restrictions, regulations, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, airline bankruptcy).
